Editorial flow

The books submitted for possible publication will be of an eminently scientific nature, due to the nature of the Publishing House. Books of literary genre will not be accepted. They must be original and not have been previously published, and must not be submitted at the same time for review in any other publication.

The reception of a book does not imply its acceptance for publication. It is received through the Open Journal System platform and through the editors' emails.

The collaborations are submitted, in the first instance, to an editorial opinion, which consists of verifying that the work corresponds to the subject matter of the Editorial and that it complies with each and every one of the established guidelines.

The resolutions of the opinion process are:

  • accept submission (approved for publication without changes);
  • revisions are needed (approved for publication when minor corrections have been made);
  • resubmit for revision (conditional on mandatory changes and re-evaluation);
  • resubmit to another site (when it does not meet the journal's profile); and
  • reject submission. See comments (a file with broader criteria is attached).

Dissenting results will be referred to a third opinion, which will be final.

Decisions are final.

The reviewers are solely responsible for reviewing the changes made in the case of results subject to resubmission.

The limit of resubmissions for a work is three times, after which the book is rejected for exceeding the limit.

The author has thirty calendar days to make corrections.

The editorial committee of the Editorial Office may make the style correction and editorial changes it deems necessary to improve the work, without changing its content.

The opinion process is determined by the number of books on the waiting list. Authors will be able to follow the progress of their work in the review and editing process through the web.

The editorial committee of the Publisher will resolve any unforeseen case.

Books must be uploaded through the platform in Word file, Arial 12 font with single spacing and in English paragraph type (no indentation on the first line).

The books will be submitted to a double-blind peer review process by two members of the Editorial's pool of referees, which is composed of prestigious academics from national and international institutions, always external to the authors' institution of affiliation.
